Eno River Brewing's Code of Conduct

Scope

Eno River Brewing's Code of Conduct applies to all employees, customers, vendors, contractors, and business partners while on or using company property, on company time, and at company-sponsored events, and includes, but is not limited to, the following situations:

• Employees interacting with (i) each other, (ii) customers, (iii) vendors, (iv) contractors, and (v) business partners

• Customers interacting with (i) employees, (ii) each other, (iii) vendors, (iv) contractors, and (v) business partners

• Vendors interacting with (i) employees (ii) customers, (iii) each other, (iv) contractors, and (v) business partners

• Contractors interacting with (i) employees, (ii) customers, (iii) each other, (iv) vendors, and (v) business partners

• Business partners with (i) employees, (ii) customers, (iii) each other, (iv) contractors, and (v)vendors

Expected Behaviors

Eno River Brewing expects its employees, customers, vendors, contractors, and business partners to promote and foster an environment of respect, inclusivity, decency, cooperation, and teamwork. Further, we expect our employees, customers, vendors, contractors, and business partners to be respectful, professional, and ethical in their interactions with others, which includes, but is not limited to, the following behaviors:

• Contributing to a positive and inclusive environment, which is free from discrimination and harassment.

• Maintaining positive and professional relationships with open discussions, mindful listening, constructive feedback, productive problem solving, and collaboration.

• Speaking up when the actions of others discriminate, harass, or oppress individuals or groups.

Unacceptable Behaviors

Eno River Brewing will not tolerate the following behaviors:

• Belittling

• Subtle expressions of bias

• Perpetuating or emphasizing stereotypes

• Verbal, physical, or written abuse or assault

• Bullying, intimidation, or victimization

• Discrimination

• Inappropriate use of company property or assets

• Failure to comply with company values

• Illegal activity

• Harassment including, but not limited to:

o Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, age, race, or religion.

o Unwelcome comments regarding a person's lifestyle choices and practices.

o Deliberate misgendering or use of "dead" or rejected names.

o Deliberate "outing" of any aspect of a person's identity without their consent except as necessary to protect vulnerable people from intentional abuse.

o Gratuitous or off-topic sexual images or behavior in spaces where they're not appropriate.

o Physical contact and simulated physical contact (e.g. textual descriptions like "*hug*" or "*backrub*") without consent or after a request to stop.

o Threats of violence.

o Incitement of violence towards any individual, including encouraging a person to engage in self-harm.

o Deliberate intimidation.

o Stalking or following.

o Harassing photography or recording, including logging online activity for harassment purposes.

o Unwelcome sexual attention.

o Pattern of inappropriate social contact, such as requesting/assuming inappropriate levels of intimacy with others.

o Continued one-on-one communication after requests to cease.

Consequences for Violations

Customers, Vendors, Contractors, and Business Partners:

If this Code of Conduct is violated, Eno River Brewing, by and through its employees, reserves the right to (i) ask customers, vendors, business partners, and contractors to exit the premises and/or (ii) terminate an existing working relationship.

Employees:

Complying with the Code of Conduct is a condition of your employment. Current employees of Eno River Brewing have formally agreed to adhere to the Code of Conduct as codified in the Employee Handbook. Failure to uphold the expectations set forth in the Code of Conduct could result in disciplinary action for employees up to, and including, termination.

To report unacceptable behavior that does not comply with Eno River Brewing's Code of Conduct, please report directly to the manager on duty, or email HR@enoriverbrewing.com.
